The Colvos Sessions

Join Rising Waters Collective for an intimate chamber concert featuring some of the Pacific Northwest's most compelling voices: pianist Amy Boers, soprano Holly Boaz, mezzo-sopranos Julia Benzinger and Lucy Weber, tenor Korland Simmons, and baritone José Rubio.

The program weaves songs of love, resilience, and joy alongside sneak peeks of two of this summer's most anticipated premieres: the world premiere of award-winning composer Sheila Silver's Songs of Resilience and disPLACE, the Catalan chamber opera receiving its North American premiere at Currents Festival in August.

The event is generously sponsored by a Rising Waters Collective supporter and will be held in their private home on Vashon Island. Enjoy the music with wines from Pollard Vineyard, light refreshements, and stunning views of Colvos Passage.
