Mark Davies

Mark Davies is an active performer and educator who regularly appears in various musical projects throughout the Puget Sound Region. Davies is a highly-regarded pianist and vocal coach, having worked with and accompanied artists who appear at opera houses across the country and internationally. More locally, he maintains a private studio coaching and accompanying local singers, and has appeared as pianist and harpsichordist with acts and companies such as The Drunken Tenor, the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra and Pacific Northwest Opera.

When he is not at the keyboard, Davies is also an in-demand baritone, having sung with companies including Tacoma Opera, Pacific Northwest Opera, Vashon Operaand the Seattle chapter of Opera on Tap. Upcoming engagements include Mr Koffner in The Consul with Puget Sound Concert Opera and performances of Ricky Ian Gordon’s “Autumn Valentine” with the Bellingham Music Club, as well as joining the Seattle Opera School Tour in performances of Pirates of Penzance singing the dual roles of the Pirate King and the Major General.
