We’ll start with wine and hors d’oeuvres, then move into an insider conversation with a Seattle Opera staff member. You’ll get a closer look at Fellow Travelers by Gregory Spears and Greg Pierce: a powerful story of love constrained by politics, fear, and silence, alongside insight into Seattle Opera’s upcoming production.

Then we widen the lens.

The concert portion of the evening features music by historically marginalized composers, performed by Rising Waters Collective artists. These works that reminds us how much of opera’s history and future is shaped by who was allowed to be heard.
