Holly Boaz
Co-Director
Holly Boaz is engaged in the local arts culture of the Puget Sound region on many levels; as a performer, a teacher, mentor, arts leader, and a passionate advocate for music education.
She has enjoyed a varied performing career in the worlds of opera, chamber music, early music and choral ensembles, and is now returning to one of her first passions: theatre. She will music direct a production of Sister Act! with Vashon's Drama Dock Theatre Company in 2025 and has upcoming performances with the Rising Waters Collective, Northwest Sinfonietta, and Classical Tuesdays in Old Town.
She currently serves on the music faculty of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma and runs a thriving private teaching studio. She is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, where she serves on the board of the Puget Sound Chapter and is coordinator for the NW Regional NATS Artist Awards competition.
Holly holds degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and the Hartt School at the University of Hartford, and she has completed fellowships and apprenticeships at Seattle Opera, Music Academy of the West, the Aspen Music Festival, The Cleveland Art Song Festival, the Britten-Pears Programme, and the Baroque Performance Institute at Oberlin College.
